The difference you’ll make
Why your support matters
Urban expansion, climate change, habitat loss, bushfires, invasive species, and other pressures are driving many native species toward extinction. Without focused funding and public awareness, some of these species may be lost forever.
Together for Wildlife works to:
Support targeted research to help endangered species recover
Partner with local wildlife shelters and conservation groups
Engage schools and communities in active change
Raise awareness about the urgency of biodiversity in Australia
Together for Wildlife has a long history of campaigns; these includes support for groups like Animalia Wildlife Shelter (rescue & rehabilitation), the Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater, Leadbeater’s Possum conservation, and more.
Although the former iteration of Together for Wildlife wound down its formal operations in 2020, the spirit and vision behind it live on. 2026 sees the resurgence of our fundraising campaign and conservation action with the launch in September 2026 of our ‘Torch for Wildlife’ project - action for wildlife reimagined with renewed energy and a clear focus on tangible impacts.

Where Your Funds Go
Every dollar you donate creates real, life-saving impact. In 2026 we're proud to support two critical conservation projects that are making a difference for Australia's most vulnerable species.
Platypus Rehabilitation & Research
Since 2021 the Platypus has been placed on the endangered list. Its survival is now under threat mainly from man-made sources such as habitat degradation, climate change and pollution. Other threats such as foxes, dogs and cats while they are travelling overland and fungal diseases are the cause for the drop in populations.
Our goal: Rescuing, treating and rehabilitating sick or wounded animals is a priority and your fundraising will make this happen.
Helmeted Honeyeater
Victoria's bird emblem, the helmeted honeyeater, is one of Australia's rarest birds with fewer than 250 left in the wild. Your contributions support habitat restoration, predator control, and breeding programs that are bringing this beautiful songbird back from the brink of extinction. Conservation teams work tirelessly to protect nesting sites, monitor populations, and create safe corridors where these birds can thrive. Every donation helps expand their habitat and secure their future for generations to come.
Our Goal: Increase wild populations through strategic breeding programs and habitat protection, ensuring this treasured species never disappears from our forests.
